Backpack Adaptor Connection

Tools/items needed:

-1/2" to 3/4" Threaded Plastic Hosing Barb
-Hot n cold water
-Strength
-Hozelock Threaded Tap Connector 1/2" – 3/4"

This final part of fitting the new tubing area is rather straight forward thankfully.

It is now time to make the new tubing design connect to the click connector from the backpack from the first set of mods.  Here is the tubing as it stands at the moment.

We once again need a 1/2" to 3/4" Threaded Plastic Hosing Barb which will be fitted over the tubing.

In order to get it over, the tubing was dipped in a bowl of hot water so it loosened, in which with some strength it went on with a nice tight fit.  We are still talking about toy water blasters here, nothing naughty and dirty to see here.

With it all on, it was then run under a tap of cold water to harden and stabilise.

Now finally all that is left to do is screw on the Hozelock Threaded Tap Connector 1/2" – 3/4" to the threaded end of the hosing barb.

And that is our connection finished!  Now be warned, the next area we are moving on to is the nozzle, where there is more steps and pictures than an art gallery in a lighthouse.
